IC Taiwan Grand Challenge
The Taiwan Chip-based Industrial Innovation Program (Taiwan CbI) is a government based project which aims to make the most of Taiwan’s semiconductor expertise with chips and generative AI. To boost Taiwan’s leading position in IC startups, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) organizes the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge debuts in June 2024. It spotlights global talents and academic groups focusing on IC design innovations and Chip-based innovative applications, with the goal of making Taiwan a hub for innovative chip technologies.
Awards:
- USD 30,000 initial cash prize for teams coming to Taiwan
- Being mentored by experts from our semiconductor industry
- Receiving platform support to take their vision from prototyping to production
- Gaining resources from key stakeholders of Taiwan’s overall startup ecosystem to ensure soft landing success in Taiwan
